We are the Boston Chapter of the Princeton Entrepreneurs' Network (PEN). Our chapter has been an active part of Boston's entrepreneurial community since 1999. We welcome anyone interested in entrepreneurship to become involved with our organization. You do not need to have a Princeton affiliation to participate. Although headquartered in Boston we serve the entire 6 state New England region.

PEN serves its network through:

  • Contests such as our Pitch and Plan contests that share developing ideas with our constituents and allow selected finalists to hone their concepts and receive valuable feedback.
  • Speaker & Panel Events that introduce and engage. Participants experience small, informal conversations with leading entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Past events have included marquis keynote speakers with Q&A sessions, entrepreneur round-table discussions, and a whole lot more.
  • Networking Events to help our constituents meet each other and more important other groups' members. We primarily do joint networking events with other groups so that people can further expand their contact base.

We are a volunteer-run organization with no paid staff. We encourage you to volunteer to help us, but we welcome you whether you volunteer or not. We are also a registered non-profit and welcome donations and sponsorships.

We invite all members of the greater community to become active in PEN whether you have a Princeton affiliation or not. We look forward to your involvement. Whether you are an entrepreneur, you have any amount of entrepreneurial spirit, or you are not sure, we encourage you to take a look at the information provided in this site and to get involved.
